While a lot of people are familiar with Freud and his theories of dream activity, very few are aware that there is something buried deeply within the psyche that Freud never even looked at. The book entitled "How I Stopped Dreaming" by Words Guinness, has been out on the bookstores for a while but as yet, has not hit recognition.
Words Guinness is well known as an expert on clients who visit my offices in Los Angeles. He is a clinical psychologist and the author of several popular books. flooded with momentum from his discovery of dream activity, the large gatherings of his peers has been reduced to a singular gathering of dreamers. While it is true that most people have, or have had the occasional encounter with an elusive being, alas, still so many remain unaware of this more potentially important aspect of psychology.
The whole concept of dream analysis was understood only by a small circle of very dedicated psychoanalysts who had a very distinct view of what could be achieved by this type ofexperiential psychotherapy. While it is true that traditionally regarded as psychoanalytical works, in true psychology, the objective has been to train by avocate to become skilled at interpreting and interpreting the signs and symbols in dreams and in the most extreme circumstances, to provide guidance to the person to awaken and find his true sense of purpose.
The truth of the matter is, of course, that most of us probably already experiencing our highest purpose in life, while many have buried it deeply beneath confusing and unproductive thoughts and activities. Moreover, there are most probably many of us who do attempt to fulfill our highest purpose but always find themselves up against a strong wall of resistance to the depth of it - whether it be into relationships, our mental processes, the everyday sensual stimuli, or the spiritual counselor.
As a result, word and meaning will be lost on the behalf of our branches of spirit. Our life purpose may be lost in translation. Frequently unable to decipher our own dreams. And as a result, complete freedom to release all vital parts of our being takes place. It is an exhilarating and liberating experience that few attain.
For many of us, spiritual awakening and personal soul development is the most exciting journey that follows a true psychic awakening. It is therefore in the best interests of the seeker to learn as much about how to translate the messages of the ancient dream messages, or at least to study the ancient symbols in the way of dream interpretation to achieve the necessary mastery and access to the same level of spiritual understanding.
I can therefore recommend the book to you that you already read, and the book is called "Reclaiming your Soul", written by Faith Durance.
For too long we have wasted our precious time living in the narrow, biased and prejudiced viewpoint that was accepted in the societies, mass media, educational systems, and homes as we know them today. A perspective that tends to reduce us down to no more than containers of the smallest elements of energy given to us by nature, labelled and classified as the various unemCongratulationsable pele we admire in society.
For too long we have seen only the apparent beauty and magnificence of human life based on abstractions of value and labels that were given to man. A focus that does nothing for our innate consciousness of holistic, spiritual and moral value. A focus that does nothing to enhance our multi dimensional spiritual awareness or nature. Religious or otherwise, we must try to reclaim the unused dimensions of ourselves and come back to our first love - the love of our true spiritual nature.
